This
club was formed to give people, YOU, a great way to
get the cardiovascular exercise (running or walking)
needed to stay healthy and fit, while pushing yourself
to places you thought were impossible. This is an awesome
way to meet new people, get some accountability to get
your cardiovascular exercise in, and possibly find that
there is a little more to you than you may think.
As a group we meet once per week, Sunday mornings at
8am (7am in the hot summer). Everyone goes at their
own pace, running or walking, leaving from Shaping Concepts.
There are markings every half mile, so you can turn
around whenever you like. Some people go a short distance,
and some go long. Some are training for a specific race,
and some are just there to improve their fitness level.
Anyone can attend our group walk/run. It is completely
free.
Compete as a SC RUNNING CLUB member: Simply pay a one-time
fee of $75 for the SC Running Club team uniform, and
compete in all your races wearing the colors! All new
members receive one box of our team sponsored AdvoCare
Spark Energy Drink to energize you during your runs
and competitions. Training plans are also available
for all race distances.
